- Merge all states that have a direction in front of the name. The only ones that may be a problem will be North and South Carolina. So we’ll just have to rename one of them. Result: Dakota and Virginia (-2 States)

- Remove the New from all states that have them. They’ve been around long enough, they aren’t new anymore. Problem is New Mexico might get confused with Mexico. So we’ll see another new name there. We don’t want to market for Mexico anyway. This really won’t help anything, the New just bothers me. So that gives us York, Jersey, and Hampshire. Hey, it’s your own fault you didn’t come up with an original name in the first place, you can’t be new forever.

- Put Rhode Island back in Massachusetts where it belongs. I think all those Roger Williams issues are all done. (-1 State)

- Realign some of the goofy looking states. The top of Idaho should be part of Montana. If you drive through Montana to Washington, do you really know you’ve been in Idaho? I didn’t think so. Oklahoma, what’s going on there? There is already a panhandle and you’re landlocked, so you lose that battle. Make it more of a rectangle and cut Texas down a bit. Texas doesn’t need all that land, they don’t do anything with it.

This will eliminate three states and cause mass confusion with the changing of some names. We’ll keep Jersey around until next time. No one should have permanent residence there. Sections of the state should be cut out to maximize the beachfront area, the rest should be paved over to make it easier to get to shore points and YC (that’s York City now).

I’ll let you in on the plan now. Montana will be huge. Land there can’t be that expensive. No body goes there. It will be decades before anyone realizing what you’ve got going on up there and as soon as the find out … BOOM! You take over the US and Canada and nobody has any clue about what just happened.
